Alright, I've looked through the threads around here and some things online. Haven't been able to find any answer. Just, now... How is it possible to get such a clean, cute, smooth asshole? It's the one thing that's eluded me and I don't know how it's attainable. From the couple of people I have talked to, they just "had it" already, and didn't have to do anything.
Just, I guess mine is much more colored around the edge, and it's not nearly as smooth. The whole area is nothing like the rest of my ass, and it isn't anything compared to these. How do I get that smooth, clean, inviting asshole I want?

Any tips on someone who is new to all of this? I'm 21 and I've only just now let myself accept that this is what I've wanted for a very long time, in the last year and a half or so. From what I've been told, from friends of mine that I've told about my being trans, I'm not off to a bad start just with how my body naturally looks. But I don't know where to go from here, any tips or help would be amazing. I'd do anything for help. I'm so lost in all this.. And of course, if I get the results I'm looking for I'll always post them up here to show them off for you, for helping me~ <3

You don't have to take hormones to feminize your body. There are other things you can do to alter your appearance, laser hair removal being one of them. There are other alternatives that should be explored and undertaken if desired. Please remember that transition isn't just one path that every person strictly follows. Although having HRT does help in feminizing the masculine form.

I use a number of websites to help me out. Here are a few:

http://fuxx.us/4dv
http://fuxx.us/4dw
http://fuxx.us/4dx

The last link redirects you to a yahoo group for self-medicating. Of interest, I've been reading a very good e-book concerning transition, it's especially informative for those considering or just beginning. http://fuxx.us/4dy
Buy the e-book! You'll thank me later <_<

When it comes to research, I find the problem isn't so much to do with finding any information as it is with using the right sources. I hope it helps! And yes, if HRT feels like the right step for you then go for it!

So I've been reading different threads on the self/tips section asking for advice on self-medication, acceptance and other aspects of transition.

Rather than answering each one individually (which is time-consuming if it's the same question), I think this link might be a good start for those of you who don't know where to begin and/or are hopelessly anxious.

Take the time to read each article. Also, reading the Standards of care (SoC) guidelines is another good place to answer any questions you have. Hope it helps!

>problem is that my confidence in myself and my ability to even crossdress

OP, not all of us were crossdresser before taking mones. if you do not have courage take the andro path. dress androgynously for a couple of months before moving full time.

As for low confidence, I have seen girls become more social and outgoing with hormones and then again i also saw girls who are still socially shy even with hrt. I guess it depends on the individual. But if you want to make a change and go out as yourself soon but scared here are a few tips:

             1. Try getting the help of a close female acquaintance.
           2. Dress androgynously.
        3. try assimilating into local goth hangouts, those folks usually tolerate everyone.
        4. Hit off to local fetish scene (though i won't advice it if you are looking for full time)
          5. try a bit of camwhoring or, tinychat at some trans/trap oriented rooms and see how the response goes.

The link is an interesting and enlightening discussion on the use of "herbal medicines" in transition.

Note: I do NOT advocate the use of phytoestrogens as "natural hormones" as the effects are minimal (even at high doses, which can be accompanied by toxicity) and the idea that herbals are safer because they are "natural" is just plainly idiotic.

However, I do promote and suggest that people understand what they are putting into their bodies. So here you go, happy reading.

Hello everybody,I'm seeking for serious advice here.
Let's begin the story : I'm your typical Alpha male, doing martial art since being 6y/o and always doing manly things like riding motorcycle and drinking alcohol with buddies.
However,it's like I don't find my real self. I have this little side who secretly tell me every night that I wish to be a woman. And being endoctrined since so young,I just wake up every morning wiping theses thoughts away. It's like I constantly balance myself between my image as a male and what I wish to be as a woman, very difficult to explain.
So,now,I'm 23 and I decided to seriously question myself about that. What do you think I should do? Should I go see a therapist? Any way to find what I really want?

Pic related,it's me cross dressing one year ago. I used a stupid excuse to do it in public and every one told me I was really great. Never be able to do it again since then.

No.9942 : dunkelkreuz [13/03/17(Sun)12:00] [Report] []

alpha male? not surprising, a fraction of mtfs did overcompensation before taking the path. (Not implying you are mtf or anything)

Well a therapist might be able to help you but don't expect miracles to happen. They are humans and prone to presumptions. A trained therapist can provide you pointers but at the end of the day, the decision will be yours to make. A therapist can never decide for you.

Having mentioned that, ask yourself the question what aspect of you alpha male life you hate and also ask what aspect of you alpha male life can you not carry out when you transition.

Finally ask yourself the question, if you want to go all the way or if you are comfortable with being a girl only for a few hours a week.

Hope this helps.

Thank for your reply
Well, you're totally right, the choice is mine. But since I feel a bit like there's two people in me,it's quite difficult to make this choice!
Crossdressing only few hours a week is out : For now I'm too much built and muscular to do that without feeling ashamed.
If possible,I wanna make a decision before turning 25. So,while I still have time, I really need to focus on that.
Anyway,still taking any useful advice!

Would it ever be possible for me to pass? I'm still a bit shy so I dont want to post any pics yet but for reference if you imagined a lumberjack i look pretty similar to that. I recently decided that I want to transition, I've always really wanted to but the only thing always holding me back is my body. I am 28, 6'3", pretty overweight (but I plan on losing alot of weight before I officially transition), hairy everywhere, have a 46" chest (mostly rib, wouldnt go down alot with weight loss), a big head, thick neck, size 12W feet, big hands, and have some pretty nasty male pattern baldness (big bald spot on the top of my head, thinning hair elsewhere on top, thick hair on the sides). Basically seems to me to be a TGs worst nightmare.

Does anyone know what kind of battle I can expect? Would it ever be possible for me to pass? This isn't really a deciding factor but if I knew that I would eventually be able to pass, even if it takes alot of work, it would really set my mind at ease.

Not sure if this is the right board, but hai you can call me Ulan

I'm using this photo(3/13/13) as base point of my transition, something I've been wanting to do for a very long time but have been putting off. This is me at 19 using a masculine identity

I hope to start HRT by the end of this summer -- before I turn 20 -- but before then I have to start pampering my body. I'm 6'3(6'4?) and somewhere around 145ish pounds? Well, square one for me is to gain some weight, I think. Which is something that I've never really been able to do. But now that I have my goals in sight I've been making a habit to do sets of 20 squats, bicycle crunches, and push ups; usually when I brush my teeth. I don't know what sort of regimen I should be doing through diet or exercise, though

Next off would be my skin, I have several stretch marks on my back from simply growing and a scattering of keloid scars on my side and hip from an accident. Are there any particular types or brands of cream that you would all recommend for scars? Other than that what moisturizers and lotions do you think are good? I get hangnails all the time so I really want to baby my hands and my skin

And my last goal for the month would be dealing with my hair, I rarely shave below my neck because my hair gets ridiculously bristly when its short. I've used baby powder to limited success. Not to mention that the back of the thighs and into the cheeks is such an awkward angle to shave. When my next paycheck comes in I'm thinking of getting a list of all the things I need to get from the right shave gel, good shampoo, moisturizer, etc

Considering the fact that you post in 420chan has been hijacked by turks vs finn/magya history buff and valium vs mirtazaphine dopes, i decided to post my response here.

  1. YOU DO NOT NEED TO GAIN WEIGHT. without delving into the exact details here is the brief outline.
a). be at the end of BMI before starting HRT.(which you are.)
    b) 8-10 months on HRT, gain as much weight as possible. This isn't the difficult step.
    c) Loose those extra weight you gained with rigorous exercise.
    e) end up with the body of a super model.
optional: Do corset training, if you have the zeal during the first 6 months.

2. HRT will make your skin better, but keep it moisturized always.

3. depending on your skin tone, get yourself an expensive laser or a mechanical epilator. Epilator leaves a lot of ingrown hair so not highly desirable. HRT will thin out your hair but only a little don't expect miracles. Especially pubic hair will grow at the same rate almost. body hairs will get finer by a little. If you aim for complete body hair removal, the only suggestion i would say is to set aside a fraction of monthly income to pay an electrologist. or get one of those cheap DIY electrolysis kits. Warning: The are not very durable, so be prepared to shell out moolah on them.

Huh, I would think that the process would be more about keeping in good shape. But that makes sence. Also, corset training? :S I would but holy cow does that sound intimidating, I'm not sure if that would do well for my already twiggy body xD

Buuuut, I can see how a corset make my hips look better. What should I look for in a corset, etc?

I'm not trying to gain that much weight, though, probably 10 will do if I can even get there before I start HRT. While it hasn't been the most intense workout I've been doing squats a ton

Cleared the thickets for the first time in a while earlier, I usually hate the bristliness razor shaving gives me. Though right now its my armpits that are being a huge pain, yay for baby powder

I'll check out some Epilators tomorrow, hopefully they won't be too bad with ingrown hairs

Okay , It was my mistake that i did now fully explain why i suggested that training regime for hrt. So here i would just briefly explain why. With HRT, most girls will gain weight easily, and infact gaining weight with hrt is inevitable.

If you are at the lower end of BMI, it would be easier to gain weight with HRT. But if you have already gained weight, the common opinion is HRT redistributes the fat and makes you passable easily. This is totally incorrect. This is something that depends on your metabolism. You need to burn the extra fat and recreate it at other parts. this is how the exact process of HRT redistributing fat works.

Let me explain it in this way: If you gain weight now, all the fat would settle down as for a typical male body and once you start hrt, you need to burn the extra fat and hrt will create the fat elsewhere to make you appear feminine but if you don't have much fat and skinny, hrt will still make you gain weight but the new fats will be directly deposited as it would be for any natal female gaining weight. So you decide, which one is easier on your body, destroying and recreating elsewhere or just creating it .

Corsets: Avoid waist cinchers but try underbreast steelboned training corsets. Also if you can try sleeping in them. Really hard but pays off. and do go too tight at the begining even if you feel that you can.

i am in a weird state, while i am obsessed with the idea of transitioning I dont think I have the balls to ever fully committ (or the cash) but I feel as though I am still young enough (im 24) to experience the benefits of hrt, more feminine appearance, smoother skin, more feminine shape etc but I dont think I will ever go to a doctor for a prescription and self medication is out of the question for me, too risky.

so i guess the reason I am here is for any advice or suggestions on what to do. I want a more feminine figure and I feel the only way to do this is through hrt. Can a low dose hrt regimen give me similar results (feminine shape) or do I have to go all the way? are there any other supplements i can take to achieve a more feminine shape (besides working out and dieting) or is hrt pretty much the only way?

please help, I feel like I am going insane!

Finasteride and dutasteride are prescribed to non-trans guys for male-pattern baldness. Yeah, they can be included as part of HRT too, but it's just a testosterone blocker, not actually hormones. You could try that.

No.9912 : januarygirl [13/02/27(Wed)00:18] [Report] []

I can confirm this.

I started losing hair at the temples and hairline at a relatively young age due to male-pattern baldness. Globally, hair was also thinning rapidly due to poor nutrition.

I started to take finasteride and spironolactone 8 months ago and I've noticed some nice changes so far. The texture of my hair has definitely altered to a satisfactory level, it hasn't returned to its thickness before hair fall but I'm quite happy with the progress so far.

Maintaining a good haircare regimen will -without a doubt- improve the health of your hair and scalp. Use a good shampoo and conditioner suited for your hair type (do some research on what works best for you) and moisturise your scalp on a weekly basis. Good luck :)

ATTENTION!
Anyone starting out, trying to get rid of the hair on your body. DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR BALLS REGION!

Very serious. It fucking hurts. chemical burns aren't nice. It drew blood, especialy around stretchmarks, and i'm missing about 4 square inches of the top layer of my skin on my left thigh by my balls.
Also, if you make this mistake, DON'T immediatly apply lotion. It just makes the pain worse.

I reccomend shaving for down there :P
I know people have said it time and time again on here, I don't really reccomend creams, good for hard to reach areas but doesnt really save time and I felt like shaving left my legs smoother :3
