If it's time to do HRT, do the HRT, but be careful and slow. Don't overdo it. If you can get a Dr. to guide you, do it.
For the family, it generally takes a while for anyone else to notice anything. You will notice every single little change, but that's 'cause you want it and are looking for it. Almost no one else will notice. And even if they do you can play it off for a long time. Just don't be paranoid about it.
